The Cairo Marriott & Omar El Khayyam Casino held its annual customer sohour at Som3a Basha. Set in the heart of the Patio, at the khedivial gardens of the palace and splendid marble fountains, Som3a Basha enabled the crowd to experience nostalgia with Ayamna El Helwa band sending glorious vibes.
Som3a Basha was set up once again to reflect the Ramadan Flair with the original Street-Chic experience where people enjoyed live cooking stations of the mouthwatering sohour specialties, an erk-sous man, and a shoe-shining station to complete the Ramadan portrait. Ramadan’s popular fool cart with its hot pots and the splashing sound of ta’meya were complemented by the delicious Egyptian sausage and liver sandwiches that had guests asking for seconds. The beautiful display of desserts was far from forgotten, showing off oriental delights that made anyone forget the word diet ever existed.
The Sohour was attended by a selective group of publishers and media personnel representing the top media scene in Egypt in addition to loyal hotel customers. They were welcomed by Heba Eissa, Director of Sales & Marketing and Ghada Abdel Khalek, Director of Marketing Communications.
Everyone enjoyed the delightful Ramadan ambience while listening to the Ayamna El Helwa’s live music that had people singing along and dancing while enjoying their flavorful shisha. Each guest left with a satisfied stomach, sensational memories, and an artistic gift that can only come from a Palace!
