Adidas Football today revealed the home kits that will be worn by Adidas federations for the 2018 FIFA World Cup RussiaTM and announced the official football by which the matches will be played!

Adidas announced the Telstar 18 to be the official football for the 2018 World Cup that will be played in Russia. The world is familiar with the Telstar 18 as the 1970th world cup was played in Mexico by Telstar 18! The official football, with its NFC inner chip is currently considered the most innovative ball in the world of football.
Inspired by past shirt designs, Adidas announced that each jersey is brought into the 21st century through adding innovative progressive tooling.
“Adidas has created so many products, innovations and looks through the decades which became true icons in the football world. We want to celebrate those icons in the world of today,” Senior Design Director, Juergen Rank, adding that “the fans feel the same way, they have the desire for authenticity and progression. They want something they immediately can identify with but at the same time it needs to contain the latest innovations and technologies of today. We bring the needs for the players and fans together, the needs for on pitch and off pitch, the needs for the stadium and the streets.”
new home kit is a modern inspiration of the 1990 shirt, with improved performance silhouette presenting dropped shoulder cut lines. Addidas added a gold World Cup winner badge on the front of the jersey and the words “Die Mannschaft” on the reverse of the neck of the two-fabric collar.
