- She describes her fashion label as unique, glamorous and edgy, and she proves it true with every award she receives from international fashion platforms, starting with First Place Award at Paris Fashion Week and ending with Best Female Couture Designer at New York Fashion Week; just a few days ago. Temraza left fashion specialists in awe with an edgy Xecutive collection that brought the highest standard of Egyptian fashion they got to view.. Big applause to Farida Temraz for a great achievement, we’re proud of you Temraza and we expect more and more from you in the years to come.
Magnificent got together earlier with the fiery girl behind the Egyptian brand that made it to first-rate, red-carpet events and international fashion weeks, and here’s a glimpse to what she had to say in our Feel-Good Issue!
How did you discover your passion for fashion?
Fashion designing is my thirst. I’ve been drawing illustrations since I was 7 years old. Actually, my passion for couture is the reason behind Temraza’s growth and success. I have developed Temraza for Couture and Bridal Dresses since Winter 2012. But I consider myself more of an entrepreneur, rather than the owner of Temraza Fashion House.
How would you describe your fashion label in 3 words? Unique, glamorous and edgy.
New, feel-good trends for 2017?
I don’t believe in trends. Fashion is what makes you comfortable and reflects your own personality. It’s the presentation of one’s self. So show your identity!
Fashion item that makes the look stand out? The Cut.
Certain names you prefer working with? Karl Lagerfeld & Gianni Versace.
Which is more important: being stylish or feeling comfortable?
Both. Be comfortably stylish with a bit of confidence.
Piece of advice for the fashionistas out there to look their best?
Be creative and think out of the box. Wear what illustrates your own personality and character.
Fashion trends that never go out of date? Royal Wedding Dresses.
The feel-good factor about your designs? Passion.
Your definition of a happy wardrobe? Wardrobe full of Heels.
The most beautiful thing that ever inspired you? Architectural buildings in Paris.
