Building on the major success of the first season of its Arts & Cultural Center, Grand Nile Tower Hotel launched Season 2 of the music festivities featuring underground musicians to shine a spotlight on Cairo’s up-and-coming artists and musicians every Friday.

The Grand Nile Tower once again collaborated with Room Art Space for Season Two of the Arts & Culture Center bringing an eclectic line up of artists to sold-out shows at the Small Theatre of the iconic hotel including Strawberry Swing (Coldplay Tribute), Seattle Band (Nirvana Tribute), the Gypsy Jazz Project, Noran Abo Taleb and Youssra El Hawary.

Season One of the Grand Nile Tower Arts & Cultural Center launched in February 2018 and featured sold-out performances from Yousra El Hawary and Dokkan, as well as the Noha Fekry Quartet, Cairo Big Band Society, Estabena & the Gypsy Jazz Project, and Hazem Shaheen & Rami Attallah.

The Arts & Cultural Center of the hotel was first launched in 2018 as part of the hotel’s corporate social responsibility initiatives, offering independent artists and young talents the opportunity to perform in a reputable venue. Hisham Gabr, conductor at the Cairo Opera House, and previous Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandria Arts Center, has served as a consultant on the project, alongside the Center’s partner Room Art Space, which aims to promote the multi-layered complexity of Egyptian culture of music and arts. This shared vision has helped Grand Nile Tower become a go-to venue for arts and cultural events.
