And as the Fishing Season is coming to a start in the whole Red Sea, Sheraton & Westin Soma Bay Resorts hosted the First Fishing Competition in Hurghada under patronages of the Egyptian Angling Federation (EGAF) and the Egyptian Food Bank (NGO) in collaboration with Red Sea Anglers.
As this time of the year is known to be the ideal time for fishing the famous and hard to get Yellowfin Tuna Fish, 15 fishing boats went on a mission to catch the famous difficult fish. The itinerary of the competition created an atmosphere of a great contest and was organized on a large scale including captain meeting, weighing ceremony and a sumptuous gala dinner with award celebration for the winners. In addition, the new “Sobar” restaurant welcomed all guests with a stylish ambiance and a wide variety of delicious international dishes and cocktails.
