In efforts to showcase its commitment towards education and innovation, LG Egypt launched its new unique CSR initiative to suuport the genius minds of the youth by partnering with Al Abakera (The Geniuses) game show. The well-known household brand promises the winners a trip of a lifetime to Korea, for a chance to experience what the country has to offer and witness the source of LG’s revolutionary technology at the same time.
Al Abakera, the game show with the largest money prize in the Middle East, is a reality edutainment competition between high schools and universities competing to claim the winning title, and every time a student answers a question correctly, the entire school system wins a cash prize. The show’s latest season launched under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education on Thursday, November 29 on Al Kahera Wal Nas and is set to witness fierce competition between 32 public and private schools from all governorates that are going head-to-head.

This is a unique CSR approach for LG that aims at enhancing education in Egypt but also urges young minds to take part in this competition for a chance to further support their schools.”
In addition to encouraging young people to read and learn about many and different themes which contributes to their cultural and scientific capabilities, LG chose to support this program because it creates a new mechanism for students to demonstrate excitement to learn about various scientific and literary fields. The show’s live audience will also be asked to take part in a competition for a chance to win LG competitive products.
Four winners of the upcoming season hosting universities and two seasons hosting high schools, in addition to the best player of these seasons, will win a trip to Seoul, South Korea, awarded by LG where they will enjoy the country’s cultural attractions and get a chance to indulge into LG’s homeland for an exclusive tour of the company’s factory and an insightful journey into LG’s latest revolutionary technology.
