We’ve waited long and hard to finally receive Spotify in Egypt, and it was worth the while. Recently, it has come to light that there are up to 43.5 million workout playlists to help pump up workouts for users. With that being said, we are intensely curious as to what people around the world are listening to during their workout sessions.
As per their observation, Spotify was able to detect that the most active countries on workout playlists were Finland, Sweden, Ireland, The United Kingdom, and New Zealand. Highlighting that Sweden tops these countries in zen – or relaxing yoga music.
As for age and gender, females ranging from ages 35 to 44 are the most active workout music listeners across the world. Followed by females ages 45 to 54 and 30 to 34. Leaving males from 30 to 44 the least workout music age group.
As for the music itself; the following are the top workout songs played on Spotify of all time.
